Our History & Mission
The Burleson Centennial High School and Kerr Middle School Color Guard programs are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment that builds confidence, fosters creativity, and develops leadership, respect, and camaraderie. Through participation in color guard—the sport of the arts—students grow as both performers and individuals. Both programs, built on a previous established foundation, remain a vital part of our band and school communities.
Now under the creative and administrative leadership of Mr. Andrew Camp, both the Centennial and Kerr Guard programs carry forward a history shaped by artistry and discipline while continuing to look toward the future. They remain committed to the principles of student enrichment and development through expressive movement, equipment training, and performance excellence.

Competitive ExcellenceThe Burleson Centennial Winter Guard competes with both Winter Guard International (WGI) and the North Texas Color Guard Association (NTCA), consistently showcasing the artistry and dedication of its students on both local and national stages. The Kerr Middle School Winter Guard has also emerged as a leader among junior high programs in NTCA, celebrating gold and silver medal performances while preparing students for future success at the high school level.
